LoHiFi Presents HARDBOILED - A Sal Dali Crime Tale

Hardboiled - A Sal Dali Crime Tale
A “Surreal Noir” Mystery

What would it look like if the inimitable Salvador Dali had to solve a crime?

LoHifi, the award-winning creative talent behind the highly praised puppetry components of last winter’s production The Pillowman, are at it again. This time LoHiFi builds Salvador Dali into an original piece as an unwitting and peculiar genius detective pitted against the hard streets of 1950s NYC.

Written by LoHiFi’s Theo Pitsiavas, and starring both Pitsiavas and LoHiFi partner Chris Little, HARDBOILED - A Sal Dali Crime Tale allows a perfect medium to showcase the duo’s limitless ability to meld lo-fi multimedia, unexpected puppetry, and their skills as character actors. Describing the play as “surreal noir”, they combine elements of Dali’s surreal world, unorthodox history, and peculiar personality with gritty, hardboiled characters and cons.
